Reflexive verbs end in -si in the infinitive (alzarsi, lavarsi, divertirsi). Conjugate the verb normally and put a reflexive pronoun before it: mi, ti, si, ci, vi, si.
- Mi alzo alle sette. I get up at seven.
- With an infinitive, the pronoun can be attached to it: Devo alzarmi presto = Mi devo alzare presto.
- In the passato prossimo they always use essere: Mi sono divertita.
Many are not reflexive in English: chiamarsi (to be called), sentirsi (to feel), sbagliarsi (to be wrong).
