Indirect pronouns replace a + person (to whom?): Telefono ad Anna → Le telefono.
- They go before the conjugated verb: La conosco.
- They attach to an infinitive: Voglio vederlo.
- In the passato prossimo, lo / la / li / le make the participle agree: La pizza? L'ho mangiata.
Indirect + direct together: me lo, te lo, glielo… — Glielo do. I give it to him / her.
